Personal Trainer Overview

Fundamental Fitness provides personal fitness training in your home, office, or community fitness center. One of the most comprehensive body transformation programs available from a private certified trainer includes:

Training Philosophy

Our approach to training is that it should be challenging but not painful, enjoyable but not easy or comfortable. Designed based on your specific goals and needs, your training regimen will include 2-3 sessions a week with your trainer, during which you will experience a motivating 60 minute strength and toning workout. On the days you are not meeting with your trainer, you will have a cardio/aerobic plan that you will follow on your own to build endurance and burn calories. Lastly, and most importantly, you will be provided with a nutrition plan and tracking tool to provide you with the information you need to know you are eating enough (but not too much!) to energize your workouts, and meet any weight loss goals you have set.

Missy was born and raised in El Paso Texas, and she moved to the DFW area in 1999. She was recruited to join the corporate accounting group of one of the largest energy companies in the area. After spending several years in the corporate accounting environment, she realized her passion was working with people and encouraging healthy lifestyles. She decided to become a personal trainer and healthy eating coach, and after the birth of her baby, she put her passion into action and received her certification from the Cooper Institute in Dallas.

Growing up, Missy didn’t realize the importance and benefits of a healthy lifestyle, and over the last 11 years has taken steps to continuously improve her physical well being through exercise and eating right. She has taught herself how to change her diet, along with incorporating cardiovascular and strength training. Along the way, she has worked out with several personal trainers, and realizes what makes a trainer successful in helping their clients get results. Missy’s style is professional, motivational, and supportive. She is outgoing and excited to work with others who are serious about changing their lifestyle. She loves to cook, and she is always looking for new healthy recipes to share with family, friends, and clients.

Missy, her husband, and three children have just recently moved to the Melissa area, just north of McKinney. Missy trains female clients and couples in McKinney, Melissa, Anna, Allen, and Prosper.
