Personal Trainer Overview

I conduct a body composition's test where I get your body fat %, Your measurements, BMR and heart rate and we track your progress each month. I personalize our training sessions specifically to your goals. I also offer you the best advice on nutrition to achieve maximum results.

Training Philosophy

In my 6 years of training, I've discovered that to achieve maximum results you have to implement everything in your workout(weight training, cardio, yoga, etc). But most importantly I want to promote a lifestyle change because a healthy diet is key to achieving your fitness goals. A person can train six times a week but if he doesn't have proper eating habits then all this working out amounts to nothing. I pride myself on pushing my clients to their limits with positive reinforcement, so that after each and every session they feel satisfied with the work they put in. My motivation towards my clients is helping them achieve their goals. Nothing makes me happier to see one of my clients go absolutely crazy when they notice a change in their body. As far as what motivates me personally I'm constantly trying to be the best version of myself so I'm never satisfied, when I complete one my goals, I then set a new one and that's what I preach to my clients always be better then what you were yesterday.

Education

I've completed my NFPT (National Federation of Professional Trainers) certification. I've worked at a gym in the past. I constantly practice what I preach plus I'm always looking to learn more about the fitness industry, like I always say "you think you know but there's always so much more you can learn." That's why I'm planning on furthering my education for example by taking a nutrition class and learn how to train special people.

Hi I'm Shawn

I was born in Montreal, Canada where I developed my passion for fitness before I moved to Atlanta in 2013. I played high school basketball and I've been going to the gym regularly for the past 6 years. Fitness runs in my family two of my cousins are bodybuilders and compete on the national level.
