Personal Trainer Overview

I have a unique approach as I do not train all of my clients the same way except that I make everyone improve. I have a wide array of training methods to help my clients. I have worked with are now considered cutting edge techniques for 3 decades. I am not just an athlete that memorized terms my coach told me or workouts. I learned from them, improved them and made them unique for others.

Many of these cutting edge workouts have no business in the real world of training as many are reps for Olympic style lifting where you work on form and do one rep as opposed to being stuck in a position that is not needed by even prospective Olympians as they do 1 rep and the weight moves. If you wish to compete in one of those types of activity I can aid you with that without charging you a high added fee like the places that offer these methods.

I come to my clients, typically in their homes, their gym if they are allowed to and do outside, online as well as via phone workouts.

Training Philosophy

Anybody can train. Even the worst person can train a little and they can slowly get better. You just have to get started. I steer you apply the gas. Now I am not going to rev you up and go from 1st to 5th gear out of the blocks but I am going to test you in the first workout and at many other times as well. I do not like to hold someone back unless it is a medical necessity to do so. Many trainers and pts do and then 2 weeks later they show you the great improvement you made having been held back.

Your improvement with me will be real and noticeable.

Bio

I have been a world class athlete and have competed at the elite level in several events. I have trained 100s of people and have also coached. I do not turn clients down and have worked with people with disabilities, diseases, cancer survivors, pre and post natal and a whole lot more.

I do not train clients as if I am their coach and they are a kid trying to make a team in two weeks unless they actually are in fact that type of client. The trainers that do typically charge very little as they were working minimum wage jobs and their only true knowledge is Memorex from how they were trained and have no medial or lateral methodologies that would allow them to alter routines for different people.
