Personal Trainer Overview

My training is very much based off the specific needs and wants from each individual client. While most of my training is geared towards freeweight movements with extra attention to form and mobility, I am willing to do different things depending on what a client wants. I try to make sessions as enjoyable possible, considering the workload covered.

Training Philosophy

I believe in hitting the most muscles possible at a time, per exercise, per workout to increase the greatest physical effort and response. I use a lot of compound movements, barbell work, circuit training, and hit every muscle at multiple angles. While I personally am a strength competitor, I have personal experience and a strong knowledge base in both extreme weight loss, sport clients and bodybuilding.

Bio

When I was 17 years old, I weighed over 330 pounds, had never worked out regularly in my life, and finally decided it was time to change. Over the course of the next 2 years I lost over 100 pounds, gained and developed muscle, and started becoming a student of the human body. I wanted to learn everything I could to become healthier, stronger, and more athletic.

Now, I have competed at a Nationals level as a drug-free powerlifter, competed in grip sport, trained in strongman, and have competed in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Having lived both the life of someone who feels they are helplessly out of shape and an athlete who wants to take their strength to another level, I can understand and relate to my clients first hand.

Just because I have a strong background in the strength field doesn’t mean I only want to help high level athletes. We all start somewhere. I enjoy helping someone who has never lifted a weight in their life and wants to lose some inches just as much as I enjoy training a football linebacker. I will do anything I can to aid my clients in seeing real physical results as fast and as significant as possible.
