Personal Trainer Overview

AJB Fitness was established in 2010 by Justin Cordeiro. I’ve worked for corporate gyms as a personal trainer for 2+ years and 4+ years as an independent personal trainer. I decided to become an independent personal trainer after seeing huge corporate gyms hire any personal trainer with a certificate who don’t know how to properly workout, train, or anything related to personal training. Huge corporate gyms don’t properly educate and teach their trainers how to get their clientele results. Two years in a corporate gym was enough, and gave me enough experience to become an independent personal trainer. I’ve been an independent personal trainer now for 4+ years now. Working for myself as an independent personal trainer has given me a lot of freedom and benefits. I’ve had to put in a lot more time and hard work working for myself, but it’s all been worth it! It’s the most rewarding job for me at the end of the day. Knowing that I properly educated and motivated my clientele at the end of the day is the best feeling. As an independent personal trainer I work harder and always make sure I’m getting my clientele their results. I go above and beyond every personal trainer by providing my clientele with insight on knowledgeable information on proper lifting techniques (proper form, engaging core, always new exercises, etc.), nutrition plans for clientele (tailored for each individual client in macro nutrients that work), off day workout schedule (my clientele get results by putting in the work), high intense workouts, and getting clients their results.

What to expect when you train with me

I have a wide variety of personal training programs that's tailored to fit different individuals based on your goals. Expect to be pushed physically and mentally on a very high level. I will push you hard in our training sessions and I expect the same in your diet and off day workout plan that I create each client. It's hard work, but if you don't work hard then you'll never achieve your goals!

Bio

I got into personal training at the age of 18. I’ve played soccer my entire life at the highest levels (Nationals, Regionals, State) since I was 3 years old. Giving up soccer was one the hardest decision in my life, I quickly found a passion in weight lifting and being in the gym. Through friends I learned some exercises, like most people who just begin working out I had no idea what I was doing. After research, school, studying and advise from friends I finally developed a workout routine. Over the course of a year I dropped over 45+lbs and dropped well over 16% body fat. As soon as I dropped weight and body fat I felt confident, energized, and free. I then turned to my family members who were well over weight and were in need of help. I created a daily diet and workout plan for my mom and dad. My mom dropped well over 100+lbs in 18 months. She still walks and eats healthy everyday! My father lost well over 50+lbs. He had been fighting type II diabetes for over 20 years, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, etc. He has finally taken control of his diabetes, and hasn’t has a problem since he worked off the weight. I enjoyed helping my family lose weight and getting healthy and fit so much that I’ve decided to make a career out of it. I’m always keeping up with new training techniques, exercises, and nutrition. I attend personal training seminars monthly to try and always learn something new and update myself. I’ve received my AA in Liberal Arts and my AS in Kiniesiology. I’m currently finishing up my BS in athletic training.
