Training PhilosophyWorking out CAN be fun!! We will never have the same workout twice. (Unless, of course, you want to!) I am always sensitive to injuries, and will perform appropriate fitness assessments before we begin training so I know at what levels you should train. EducationTexas State University B.F.A. Q: Why should I hire a trainer? I think I could do this on my own. A: Possibly, but have you tried this before? Do you know what type of training is required, how many sets and repetitions and with what weight your body needs to achieve your fitness/endurance/weight loss goals?
Hiring a trainer ensures safety, efficiency I and accountability in your workouts .
Q: How often should we meet? A: Depends on your goals and commitment levels. I normally recommend we meet at LEAST twice a week, but we can arrange for whatever your budget and time will allow.
Q: Do I have to diet? A: I dislike the word “diet”. It implies that you are restricted from certain foods and I am a firm believer in “everything in moderation”. We will focus more on the foods that you should be eating that fit your lifestyle. Whether that be foods you prepare yourself, or healthy choices you can make on the go.
Q: How do you know it will work? A: The only successful method of long term weight management is a simple equation on calories in vs. calories expended. IF YOU ARE BURNING MORE CALORIES THAN YOU EAT, YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHT. And we will be burning some major calories.

I will transport and provide any equipment we may need.
I can drive to your home, or we can meet at a designated public park or school. Our sessions will last anywhere from 1-2 hours depending on your fitness levels, commitment, and guidance requirements.

My Story
At the age of four, I was introduced to the fitness world through gymnastics. By the age of eight I had been lucky enough to be involved in several venues of athletics; track, swimming, basketball, gymnastics, softball, dancing and competitive cheerleading.
My dad was a football coach, and my mom, unable to afford the costs of my cheerleading training, took on a coaching position at the gym where I trained. From then on, I was in either on a field or a gym, playing, training, stretching and exercising, almost seven days a week, and it has been a vital part of who I have become ever since.
I have taught dance lessons, gymnastics lessons, I have even taught rock-climbing lessons.
Whether it be in a gym, a track, a swimming pool, a playground, a steep cliff, a river, your own house or just an open field; with my creativity and experiences, I can help teach you how to make fitness enjoyable in any medium.
I am a 2009 graduate from Texas State University, and I have worked hard to earn a certification through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America for Personal Training. Fitness and health are my passion, and a boost in the right direction can really improve your quality of life.
What do you have to think about? If you’ve tried to do this on your own and rendered less-than-successful results, let someone who is trained and passionate about living a long, healthy, active life lead the way.
